Near the sea

The Hotel is open all year round and situated 500 mts. from the sea in a quiet position surrounded by pinewoods. It is only 100 mts. from Tirrenia's Golf Clubs, 10 mins. from Pisa centre and 2 kms. from the motorway exit (A12 - Genova - Livorno).

Tirrenia

Situated along the Tuscan coast, Tirrenia has long stretch of fine sandy beach of about 10 kms. The area is completely immersed in lush vegetation, only a shorty distance from Pisa and Livorno. These important towns, although near to each other are very different in character and tradition and both have extremely fertile land. This position is excellent due to the following:

• The green mediterranean pinewoods where you can enjoy relaxing walks, bike rides or horseback riding through the numerous paths that cross the woods.
• The beach with its fine white sand and well equipped beach clubs where all types of water sports are available.
• The River Arno that is navigable from Marina di Pisa to Pisa centre. There are moving facilities for pleasure boats.
• This area and its coastline is easly reachable from the nearby Pisa airport, the port of Livorno and the motorway exits Genova - Livorno and the "Superstrada" FI-PI-LI (Florence - Pisa - Livorno).

The climate - Tirrenia

Typically mediterranean with pleasant mild temperatures in all seasons. Colourful springs, warm bright summers and relaxing autumns. During the summer season Tirrenia has numerous lively beach clubs where you spend whole days. There are many sporting activities: swimming, beach-volley, scuba diving, tennis, sailing, golf, horsebackriding. Foootball can be enjoyed in various facilities immersed in green vegetation.

There are two Golf Clubs. The Cosmopolitan Country Club, 18 holes only 150 mts. from the Hotel or at Golf Club Tirrenia, 9 holes at 300 mts.

Various daily excursions can be chosen . Visit the mouth of the River Arno and see its enormous fishing nets. This area faces San Rossore, splendid natural park land with its stables and famous racecourse backed by the Apuanian Alps, the Tuscan islands Elba and Capraia and an exceptional heritage of art tours such as Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, Florence, Siena plus numerous small villages waiting to be discovered all around.

Tirrenia is therefore an ideal place for a relaxing comfortable holiday with many interesting attractions.
